About
Born in the mid eighties in the English Cotswolds, David Fliski has always had a strong passion for everything surrounding music. His father being an established and highly regarded Engineer, he developed an interest in how things work and how to improve them. After upgrading his own guitars at the age of 14, he started to modify his friends guitars too. He built his first electric guitar at the age of 17 for a school project. Having caught the bug with guitars, he started doing repair work for all the people in the local area. At the age of 20, after building a few guitars and clocking hundreds of hours in repair work, he enrolled at London Metropoliton University and completed a 3 year BA degree in Musical Instrument technology. During this period, he was taught by 3 of London’s most celebrated luthiers and left university with great grades and a higher understanding of all stringed instruments. Still residing in East London, David now builds custom electric guitars as well as still continuing with repairing and maintaining all manner of instruments.
